Cloth of Jegna is a clothing brand created by a London-based designer, with a collection inspired by African culture. Inspiration for the urban fashion brand comes from Africa’s many and varied sacred cultures that have thrived across the continent, specifically around the region known as the ‘Horn of Africa’.
The client’s criteria for their branding was bold, strong visuals, reminiscent of ancient African symbology. The logo takes inspiration from the horns and feather plumes of Egyptian goddess Het-Heru, with the sun forming the central element of the icon. The powerful black shape gives contrast to the hand painted designs of the clothing, creating stand-out on social media.
